GeoAqua attended the 36th Diving for Science Symposium 2017 of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences hosted by the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Alpena, MI.
We presented a paper on human factor in scientific diving that can be downloaded from our references and training page. Moreover it was possible to dive in a submerged sinkhole fed by anoxic mineralized water. A video is available on our YouTube page.

The topics we presented included the use of Full-face masks for diving, the collaboration between Public Safety Divers and Scientific Divers and Risk management applied to the diving activity.
