GeoAqua was founded by Giorgio Caramanna in 2015 from the desire to share his experience as researcher and scientific diver and to enhance public awareness of key environmental problems.
Giorgio is a geologist with a background in hydrogeology and geochemistry and over fifteen years of experience as a scientific diver in a variety of environments and conducting various research activities. He also serves as a delegate on the European Scientific Diving Panel. He has worked as a researcher at many international institutions and has multidisciplinary experience at several different universities. He is author of more than fifty papers and is a reviewer for international journals. Please refer to CV and publications list for further details. |
